Greetings! This month’s release includes several exciting updates, from a new feature in our Voting platform to integration updates.
New Features
1) Secret Ballots
Since we launched PileraVotes in November 2023, we’ve added new features and enhancements backed by our customers’ feedback. This month, we’re excited to introduce new Secret Ballots, which improves privacy and compliance by automatically excluding residents’ names and unit addresses from the voting dashboard and reports. Once the Secret Ballot option is activated, managers can access Redacted Reports with voter information excluded.

2) C3 Bidirectional Integration
We now offer two-way integration for our customers on C3’s accounting platform, which means any changes you make to resident phone numbers and email addresses will be automatically reflected in the other platform. This new update improves the integrity of your data across both platforms and saves you valuable time.
3) Automatically bring Other Occupants through C3.
Through our integration with C3, we can now bring Other Occupants automatically into Pilera.
4) View today’s events in the calendar from the dashboard
The dashboard now displays the community calendar front and center for your convenience. Managers, board members, and residents can now view the day’s events on the dashboard and easily access the full calendar for more details with just a click.
But that’s not all. Managers can manage events more easily on the dashboard, with the ability to:
- Modify the event details or schedule
- Send an email notification to the community and segment by user type
- Delete the event if needed.

Improvements
1) Access Distribution Groups from the Announcements page
Now, accessing Distribution Groups is simpler than ever when sending an announcement. You can click the Manage link from the Send Announcements page to access your Distribution Groups.

2) Enumerate Integration Update
For better clarity, we changed the user type name on the Occupants listing page from “Tenant” to ” Renter” for our Enumerate clients.
3) At-Attorney Message on the Dashboard
We’ve made visual improvements to the message that displays for resident accounts that are “at-attorney.”
4) Integration improvements
We’ve improved the performance of many of our integrations to create a more seamless experience for our clients.
Bug Fix
Language Link
We fixed the language link within the message center details so managers can view the content of a message sent to a recipient in a different language.

Once election day arrives, the homeowner needs only to click the candidate of their choice. The system guards against multiple votes or any other fraudulent behavior. The votes are automatically tabulated, and the results are emailed to everyone concerned.
The software involved – or the account that needs to be set up – does come with a cost, but when weighed against the ease and convenience of online voting, most HOAs find it well worth it.
