Our Story

In the fast-paced world of community management, companies face many challenges: frustrated boards, disconnected homeowners, and tough competition. Many managers start with a genuine desire to help but often feel like the bad guy, constantly needing to prove their value. They need a way to prioritize people and community relationships again.

Pilera saw this gap and took action. Since 2008, we’ve evolved from a simple communication platform to a leading CRM for community associations. Today, Pilera’s CRM prioritizes relationships. We’re your trusted partner, helping you build strong community connections exactly when needed.

Ashish Patel, our CEO and Founder, has been the driving force behind Pilera’s vision. With a strong background from his time at Fidelity Investments, Ashish is always pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Back in 2008, he brought game-changing solutions like text messaging and language translation to the HOA industry, putting Pilera on the map and earning a spot on The Foundation for Community Association Research’s Technology and Data Security Task Force.

His active involvement with the Community Associations Institute (CAI) has solidified Pilera’s leadership in the industry. Ashish’s blend of cutting-edge technology expertise and a relentless drive for innovation continues to propel Pilera forward, making it a leader in the field.
