This month, we’re excited to share a new feature to our ticketing platform, plus enhanced event calendars and communication tools to increase your team’s efficiency. Along with these improvements, we’ve made some important fixes to ensure your workflow is even smoother. Keep reading to learn more about these new updates!
New Features
Track Resident Replies to Tickets
We’re excited to announce that residents can now reply directly to tickets from their email!
These ticket types include:
- Work orders (unit and common area)
- Support
- Violations
- Architectural Change Requests (ACRs)
- Occupant Incident Logs
Building on last year’s enhancement that enables you to track assignee and vendor email replies to a ticket, we’ve now extended this capability to residents. If residents have a valid email address on file and email is their preferred communication method, they can directly reply to tickets from their email without logging into Pilera. All their responses, including any attachments, will be seamlessly tracked in the Message Inbox. This allows managers to have a comprehensive overview of all resident interactions, directly within the ticket itself. We’ve built this new feature to help you better maintain records, retain critical information during staff transitions, and address any legal issues.
Note: This feature is active for any clients who have enabled “threaded conversations”. If you would like to activate this feature for your community, please reach out to setup@pilera.com.
Enhancements:
Print Your Community Event Calendar
You asked, and we listened! We’re thrilled to announce that printing your community event calendar is simpler than ever before. Easily print by month, week, or day. The print button offers a streamlined, printer-friendly view for managers and boards, allowing you to utilize your browser’s print function without the distractions of the standard site.

Send Welcome Messages in Batches to Logged-In Users
Now, you can seamlessly send welcome messages in batches to residents who have previously logged into Pilera but not recently. This enhanced feature is particularly useful when you’re gearing up for an important vote and want to maximize participation. It allows you to easily pinpoint residents who may not have accessed the portal recently and prompt them with an email to reset their credentials.

Other Fixes
- We’ve enhanced the board member title field to improve clarity. Previously, board titles displayed the text “amp” instead of the “&” symbol.
- The text in the postal mailing section of our communications feature has been updated to display “OSG” instead of “Everview,” aligning with our integration partner’s new branding update.
- Residents in standalone communities will no longer have the ability to modify their names directly in the portal. This update ensures that names are displayed consistently, aligning with specific requirements such as those detailed in property deeds.
- We’ve enhanced the functionality of the pretender sessions, streamlining the process for managers to troubleshoot any issues related to on-site managers and occupants. Managers can now pretend as both users without being logged out of Pilera.
- We’ve improved the wording of the status date in the resident message center for better clarity. Managers can now gain better insight into the status of emails they send to residents. For example, managers can now see when the status of an email changed to “Delivered” or “Replied”.
