New Features in PileraVotes
A new way to track quorum
We’ve introduced a new option to track quorum based on the percentage of ownership. You can track progress live as the voting happens.
Automate voter receipts
Residents opting in for communications will now receive an email receipt confirming their vote.
Provide voters with confirmation directly in the app
As soon as a resident submits their vote, they’ll receive a confirmation message in the app, with a Vote ID for quick and easy reference later.
See the percentage of non-voters
Our charts now show the percentage of residents who haven’t voted, calculated through unit weights, giving you better insights into voter turnout.
Identify units missing Percent of Ownership
When the “Percentage of Ownership” setting is enabled, the app highlights any units missing ownership data. This allows managers to quickly assign the correct unit weights before the vote goes live.

Ballot Management
- We’ve streamlined the ballot settings to make creating a ballot simpler. The settings are now organized into two categories: Vote Calculations for managing results and Form Restrictions for security rules.
- We’ve changed the term from “Copy” to “Duplicate” for better clarity. This feature allows you to duplicate any ballot you’ve already created to save time and minimize effort for future ballots.
- We’ve simplified the wording for ballot formatting options and question types to make your ballots easier to build.
- We’ve improved the appearance of the “Horizontal Rule” feature, making it easier to add spacing to your ballot questions and create a clean design.
- On the ballot page of the Resident Portal, we’ve made it more convenient to return to the ballots listing page. This enhancement makes it easier for residents to switch between multiple ballots or surveys in their community.
Reports & Charts
- We’ve enhanced the charts to give you a clearer picture of the results. You can now see how many residents voted for each option in a question and how many people answered a question. Additionally, the questions are now displayed in the order they were asked – making it easier to follow the flow and understand the outcomes more easily.
- The Audit log now includes additional details with clearer language to indicate when a secret ballot is first unsealed, improving accuracy and accountability.
- We’ve reordered the fields in the results table for better organization.
