November 27, 2018: Introducing New Community Websites

Greetings,

We hope you all had a joyful and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday.  We’re happy to be back to give you the latest updates in our community management software.  This update is indeed a very special one, which our developers have been working hard to create for you, and we’re excited to share them.  We introduce two new features: our redesigned community websites and the community directory!

New Features:

  • Mobile-friendly & modern Community and Company Website 
    • This month, we’re excited to introduce our advanced, redesigned community and company websites.  Some of the features of the website include:
      • Fully responsive layouts, which means that your residents can view the website on any device, on the go!
      • Residents can view community documents, financial balance and transaction history, forms, events, marketplace items, community information, and pay their dues online in one central place.
      • Restrict content on your website to either community occupants, board members, or make some of your pages public.
      • Easy website editor to use for your non-technical staff.

  • Community Directory
    • You’ve spoken and we heard you!  The Community Directory feature has been requested frequently by our clients and we’re happy to announce its inclusion in this release.  This new feature is aimed at helping residents to connect with one another better and have greater control over what information they share with the community.  The community directory is a listing of residents who have opted-in to share their contact information in the resident portal. Residents can choose to list their contact name and address, email address, phone number, or SMS text number.

Enhancement:

  • Communications
    • When a resident receives an automated phone call, they now have an option to opt-in to receive text messages. The resident portal will reflect the change so that the resident will continue to receive text messages.
